The Chester Yellow Jacket boys golf team shot a team score of 247 to finished third out of three teams Thursday at Crab Orchard Golf Course.
Carterville, the host school, won the match with a team score of 173, while Eldorado finished at 184.
The Chester squad was led by Brett Barthol (48), Jonavan Richelman (56), Sam Higgerson (67) and Tommy Pfeiffer (76).
The Jackets will be in action later this afternoon at they travel to Marissa with a start set at 4 p.m.
