Chester Grade School third grader Destiny Williams has added another championship to her resume in her long journey through the 2010-2011 Elks Hoop Shoot. On the weekend of March 12, Williams breezed through another level of the annual Elks free throw shooting competition by winning the National Regional in Iowa City, Iowa. Williams made 21-of-25 free throws and beat out fellow shooters from Wisconsin, Iowa and Minnesota. She now advances to the national finals in Springfield, Massachusetts. Williams and her parents, Ron and Amy Williams of Chester, will make the trip across the country April 28-May 1 for the national finals.
