The Chester Lady Yellow Jacket volleyball team defeated Marissa-Coulterville to win their own Queens of the Court tournament Saturday.
Chester went 3-0 in the tournament with wins over Christ Our Savior Lutheran, Agape Christian of Energy and the Lady Meteors.
The Lady Jackets opened up the tournament with a 21-7, 21-4 win over Christ Our Savior.
Devon Hecht led the team with five kills while Kellie Bert and Tiffani Marshall each added two kills. Megan Atchison finished with 21 service points with five aces while adding three kills and seven assists.
Chester wrapped up pool play with a 21-12, 21-17 victory over Agape Christian.
Marshall led the Chester attack with eight kills and two blocks while Hecht added five kills in the win.
In the championship match, Chester topped Marissa-Coulterville 21-17, 21-16.
Marshall finished with three kills to pace the attack while Amy Araiza had seven points and six digs. Atchison added six points, two aces, two kills, five assists and two digs.
Anna Jonesboro defeated Agape Christian to win third place while the Lady Jacket junior varsity team beat Christ Our Savior Lutheran 21-19, 21-18 in the fifth place match.
The Lady Jackets improved to 6-10 overall.
