In a rematch of last year's Class 1A sectional, Valmeyer knocked off Chester in straight sets Monday night 25-19, 25-13.
With the loss, Chester fell to 3-8 on the season.
Tiffani Marshall led the Lady Yellow Jackets with seven kills, while Jordan Clendenin added five.
Jamie Chambers led the team with seven points and seven assists in the loss.
