Pinckneyville rallied from a 5-1 deficit by scoring eight runs over the final three innings to defeat Marion 9-7 Monday in senior legion baseball action.
Pinckneyville scored two runs in the bottom of the fourth, three in the fifth and three in the sixth for the comeback victory.
Bryant Shute picked up the win while Trent Bigham led the offense going 2-for-4 with three runs batted in.

Sparta opened up the season with a 10-0 win over Carbondale Thursday.
Stefan Gregson and Clay Peck combined to throw a one-hit shutout as Sparta cruised to the win in six innings.
Sparta scored a run in the bottom of the second, two in the third, one in the fourth, three in the fifth and three more in the sixth.
Matt Gill paced the offense going 2-for-3 with a double and two runs batted in. Kyle Wall also went 2-for-3 with a run batted in while Peck also added two hits.
