Pinckneyville senior Danielle Jenkel, daughter of Scott and Mitzi Jenkel of Pinckneyville, has signed a letter of intent to play softball in the fall for the Blue Angels of Kaskaskia College and coach Torey Crowell. Jenkel, one of six Lady Panthers to sign to play college softball next year, was voted her team's most improved varsity player as a freshman and as a junior. She was also named to the River to River Mississippi Division All-Conference second team as a sophomore. Pictured in the front row is Danielle with her parents Mitzi and Scott.
