Future Mighty Meteors,

    The Mighty Meteor Basketball Camp will be held June 7th-June 11th, 2009, in the High School Gym.  The camp is for all students that will be entering grades K-6 in the 2010 school year.  
    The camp’s main purpose is to teach each camper basic fundamentals and foster competitive game experience.  Our philosophy is that the summer months are the most important in developing basketball talent, and we hope to help each player develop to his/her fullest potential.  
    The campers will work from 8:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M.  For the younger group, intermediate sized basketballs will be used as well as lowered rims. For grades 3-6, they will compete with standard sized balls and on regulation rims.
    All campers will receive a T-shirt.  Awards and other prizes can be won at the camp based on competitions and proficiency. Coach Dan Lehman and Coach Dirk Miller, along with the Marissa Junior/Senior High basketball coaching staff will be hosting the camp.  The cost for the camp will be $35.00. Any additional campers within the immediate family will cost $15.   Please make the check payable to Mighty Meteor Basketball Camp.  
    Please fill out the attached application and return to me by May 28th, along with a check to guarantee a T-shirt. You can return the form to either school building’s office, to my office, or send it in the mail.
