Pinckneyville sophomore Heather McDaniels wrapped up the high school golf season with a sixth place finish at state October 15 and 16 at Red Tail Run Golf Course in Decatur.
McDaniels shot  a two-round score of 166 to tie for sixth place. Trico’s Kaytie Taylor shot a 196 to tie for 64th place.
Byron senior Elizabeth Curtiss shot a 156 to win the Class A title.
On the boys side, Trico senior Patrick Heller shot 166 at the Prairie Vista Golf Course in Bloomington October 15 and 16 to tie for 59th in the Class 1A competition.
Winchester senior Nate Davis carded a 145 to win the state title.
