Steeleville notched its fourth consecutive win of the season by beating Cahokia Conference Kaskaskia Division foe New Athens 50-33 Wednesday night.
The Lady Warriors ran out to a 16-5 lead in the first quarter and held a 29-15 halftime lead. Steeleville sealed the win by outscoring New Athens 21-18 in the second half.
Natalie Ruebke led the Steeleville offense with 15 points. Megan Lalis added 11 points and 14 rebounds, while Alex Gale finished with eight points and Jill Winkelman had seven.
Steeleville improved to 4-3 on the season and 1-0 in the conference.
