Jill Winkelman and Alex Gale each scored 13 points to lead Steeleville past Elverado 43-29 Thursday night.
The Lady Warriors jumped out to a 9-8 first quarter lead and led 22-17 at the break. Steeleville secured the win by outscoring Elverado 21-12 in the second half.
Natalie Ruebke added eight points for Steeleville and Megan Lalis had seven as Steeleville improved to 8-9 on the season.
