In the conference opener for Marissa-Coulterville, the Lady Meteors outscored Dupo in every quarter including 21-4 in the first half for a convincing 53-24 win Thursday night.
Marissa-Coulterville jumped out to a 11-4 lead in the first quarter and then outscored Dupo 10-0 in the second. The Lady Meteors put the game out of reach in the second half by outscoring the Lady Tigers 18-7 in the third and 14-13 in the fourth.
Kendra Goss scored a game high 14 points to lead Marissa-Coulterville, while Brittany Sloan added seven, and Chelsea Weekley and Kara Wine each had six points.
With the win, the Lady Meteors improved to 4-2 overall and 1-0 in the Cahokia Conference Kaskaskia Division.
