Four players reached double figures in scoring for Steeleville, but it was not enough to overcome a second half surge by Lebanon in a 65-57 loss Wednesday night in Cahokia Conference Kaskaskia Division action.
The Lady Warriors opened up to a 15-10 lead in the first quarter, but Lebanon answered with a 21-12 run in the second quarter for a 31-27 lead at halftime.
Lebanon outscored Steeleville 15-12 in the third and 19-18 in the fourth for the eight-point win.
Natalie Ruebke scored 16 points to pace the Steeleville offense. Alex Gale added 13, while Jill Winkelman had 11 and Nicola Foote finished with 10.
Steeleville dropped to 4-5 overall with the loss.
