Collinsville overcame a three-point halftime deficit to edge out Sparta 45-42 Saturday in the Carbondale Tournament.

The Lady Bulldogs fell behind 11-10 in the first quarter, but outscored Collinsville 12-8 in the second for a 22-19 lead at the break.

Collinsville battled back in the second half to outscore Sparta 13-12 in the third and 13-8 in the fourth for the three-point win.

Jessica Robinson led the Lady Dawgs with 16 points, while Rachel Peck had nine and Kordelia Claybourn tossed in eight.

Robinson and Peck were selected to the all-tournament team.
