Steeleville dropped to 1-3 in tournament play following a 44-19 loss to Du Quoin Monday night in the Du Quoin Lady Indians Tip-Off Classic.
Du Quoin outscored Steeleville in every quarter including 11-6 and 13-3 in the first half.
Natalie Ruebke scored eight points to lead Steeleville, while Alex Gale had six.
Jessica Hirsch scored a game-high 23 points to pace Du Quoin.
Steeleville 43, Johnston City 23
The Steeleville Lady Warriors earned their first win of the season Friday night beating Johnston City 43-23 in the Du Quoin Tip-Off Classic.
Natalie Ruebke scored a game-high 23 points and pulled down 13 rebounds to pace Steeleville. Alex Gale added eight points and Sara Potter had six in the win.
With the win, Steeleville improved to 1-2 on the season.
Woodlawn 55, Steeleville 17
Woodlawn outscored Steeleville 35-10 in the first half and 20-7 in the second for a 55-17 victory Thursday night.
Natalie Ruebke scored 13 points to lead the Lady Warriors, while Morgan Lindner and Taylor Hill each had two points in the loss.
