Red Bud jumped on Sparta early and never looked back, as the Musketeers rolled to a 41-0 win Friday night.
Red Bud scored 21 points in the first quarter and held a 34-0 advantage by halftime.
“The entire team played well and we had very few mistakes,” said Red Bud coach Dave Lucht. “We gained control early and never let up. It was a good treat for the kids to play so well in their final regular season game, and go into the playoffs with some momentum.”
Jake Hoffman got the scoring started with a 77-yard touchdown pass to Mitchel Cleveland with 8:27 to play in the first quarter.
Hoffman would end up with 196 yards passing and four touchdowns. Tyler Hubert gave the Musketeers a 14-0 lead with a 16-yard touchdown run at the 7:15 mark. Hoffman then connected with Hubert on a 27-yard touchdown pass as Red Bud led 21-0 at the end of the first quarter.

Red Bud wrapped up their scoring with the third act of the Hoffman-Cleveland connection, a 27-yard touchdown pass play.
Cleveland finished the game with three receptions for 115 yards. Hubert led the team with 78 yards rushing on just 10 carries, while Hoffman added 58 yards on eight attempts.
