Using a 26-point explosion in the first quarter, Red Bud built up a 44-0 lead at halftime and coasted to a 44-8 win over Dupo Friday night on the road.
The Red Bud offense was efficient and dominating early on.
Tyler Hubert rushed for 126 yards on just seven carries while scoring three touchdowns. Alex Phegley completed 5-of-5 passes for 120 yards and two touchdowns.
The Musketeer defense was equally as impressive, holding Dupo to just a late fourth quarter touchdown.
Red Bud jumped on Dupo early with four first quarter touchdowns. Hubert had a pair of five-yard touchdown runs, while Kevin Crafton returned a punt 23-yards for a score and Cody Koch pulled down a Phegley pass for a 35-yard touchdown.
In the second quarter, Crafton scored on a 17-yard pass play from Phegley, while Kenny Cheek returned an interception 45 yards for a score and Hubert scored from 69 yards out.
Red Bud was able to rest most of its starters in the second half as the team improved to 2-2 on the season.
Crafton finished with two receptions for 37 yards, while Koch had two catches for 68 yards.
For the Red Bud defense, Cheek and Colin Wiegard each had an interception, while Wiegard and Jason Greer each finished with a quarterback sack.
The Musketeers will host Freeburg (0-4) Friday night.
