Tyler Hubert ran for 310 yards and four first half touchdowns to lead Red Bud past Jefferson, Missouri 41-22 Friday night.
Hubert scored on runs of 12, four, five and six yards as Red Bud led 27-0 at the break.
“We knew Tyler had that kind of game in him,” said Red Bud coach Dave Lucht. “He ran smart and Jefferson didn’t have an answer for him. Our offensive line did a good job of creating holes and our runningbacks did a good job of finding those holes. It was a great night for us overall as a team.
In the second half, Kenny Cheek returned a kickoff 45 yards for a touchdown and Kevin Crafton ran in a score from seven yards out as the Musketeers coasted to the win.
The Red Bud defense intercepted one pass and recovered two fumbles.
With the win, Red Bud improved to 4-3 and will host Columbia (5-2) Friday night in an important game for both squads.
