Chester wraps up inaugural season in the Black Diamond with a 30-12 win over Vienna ... 10/23/10


The Chester Yellow Jackets outscored Vienna 16-0 in the first half en route to a 30-12 victory Saturday to end the regular season with an 8-1 record.
 Chester grabbed the lead halfway through the second as John Baughman scored on a 43-yard touchdown run
The Jackets doubled their lead with just under 90 seconds to play in the half as  Zach Lochhead connected with Justin Eggemeyer on a 47-yard touchdown pass.
Chester led 16-0 at intermission.
Vienna got back in the game in the third quarter as Kaleb Kinder scored on a 60-yard run to cut Chester’s lead to 16-6.
Chester responded with just three seconds left in the third, as Lochhead hooked up with Baughman on a 41-yard touchdown pass. The score gave Chester a 24-6 lead heading to the fourth quarter.
With 8:12 left in the game, Lochhead rounded out the scoring for Chester with a nine-yard touchdown run for a 30-6 lead.
Just over three minutes later, Vienna’s Brayden Leeds scored on a 28 yard run to get to the final score of 30-12.
Chester finished with 332 yards of total offense, with 178 yards coming from the rushing attack.
Baughman finished with  92 yards on eight carries and Lochhead added 41 yards on seven carries.
Lochhead also was 7-for-9 passing for 154 yards.
Vienna finished with 263 yards of total offense, all coming on the ground.
Kinder led the Eagles  with 117 yards on  four carries, while Brayden Leeds finished with 76 yards on 11 carries.
