Du Quoin notched its third win over Sparta this season with a 67-49 victory Friday night.

The Indians outscored Sparta in every quarter including 39-27 in the first half for the 18-point win.

Matt Gossett scored 16 points to lead Du Quoin.

David Sams scored 13 points to pace Sparta, while Maurice Austin added 12 and Dartanus White had 11.

With the loss, Sparta fell to 14-8 on the season and 2-4 in the SIRR Mississippi.
