Marissa-Coulterville 10
Valmeyer 0

Marissa-Coulterville picked up its 20th win of the season and clinched the Cahokia Conference Kaskaskia Division baseball title with a 10-0 win over Valmeyer Tuesday.
The Meteors scored three runs in the bottom of the first, three in the third, two in the fourth and two in the fifth for the five inning victory.
Elijah Burton tossed all five innings allowing no runs on four hits while striking out two for the win.
David Parkinson led Marissa-Coulterville offense going 3-for-4 with two runs batted in and two runs scored. Other top hitters for the Meteors included Kevin Galle (2-for-3 with two RBIs and two runs scored), Casey Pitchford (2-for-3 with two runs scored), Kyle Sinn (2-for-3 with two runs scored), Burton (1-for-2 with two RBIs and a run scored) and Joey Martin (1-for-2 with an RBI).
With the win, Marissa-Coulterville improved to 2-0 on the season and 8-1 in conference play.
Steeleville 13
Dupo 1

Steeleville exploded for 11 runs in the top of the first inning to coast to a 13-1 win over Dupo in five innings Tuesday.
Dustin Risinger picked up the win allowing just one run on four hits.
The Warrior attack was led by Kris Beshears (2-for-3 with two runs batted in), Luke Kilgore (2-for-4 with two runs batted in) and Darin Winkelman (1-for-3 with a run batted in).
Steeleville improved to 6-15 on the season with the win.
Red Bud 8
Wesclin 2

Alex Phegley hit a home run and drove in five runs to lead Red Bud past Wesclin 8-2 Tuesday in Cahokia Conference action.
The Musketeers scored a run in the top of the first inning and then added three in the sixth and four in the seventh for the six-run decision.
Stefan Gregson picked up the win pitching two innings allowing a run on two hits while striking out three.
Phegley finished the day going 2-for-4 with the five runs batted in and two runs scored to pace the Musketeer offense.
Colin Wiegard went 2-for-4 with a run batted in and Gregson was 1-for-3 with a run batted in and a double in the victory.
Hamilton County 17
Trico 7

Hamilton County racked up 17 runs on 13 hits and took advantage of seven Trico errors for a 17-7 win Tuesday in Black Diamond baseball action.
Trico scored lone runs in the first, second and third innings, while adding three in the fourth and another run in the sixth.
Hamilton County scored two runs in the top of the first inning, two in the third, four in the fourth, five in the fifth, two in the sixth and two more in the seventh for the 10-run decision.
Jesse Smith led the Pioneer offense going 3-for-4 with a double and two runs batted in while D.J. Dobbs was 2-for-4 with a double and a run batted in.
Columbia 4
Marissa-Coulterville 3

Columbia took advantage of four Marissa-Coulterville errors and scored one run in the bottom of the seventh inning to sneak past the Meteors 4-3 Monday in high school baseball action.
The Eagles grabbed the early lead scoring two runs in the bottom of the first inning.
Marissa-Coulterville countered with lone runs in the third and the fifth to tie the game up at 2.
The lead was short-lived as Columbia reclaimed the lead with a run in the bottom of the fifth.
The game was extended as the Meteors scored the game-tying run in the top of the seventh, but Columbia won the game with a run in the bottom half of the frame.
Kyle Sinn took the loss as he came in to pitch in relief of starter Logan Tabor in the seventh.
Sinn led the team offensively going 2-for-4 with three runs batted in while Chris Fullerton was 2-for-2 with two runs scored.
Red Bud 10
Valmeyer 1

Caleb Ratz shut down the Valmeyer offense to lead Red Bud to a 10-1 victory Friday.
Ratz earned the complete game win by allowing just one run on four hits while striking out five.
The Musketeers scored five runs in the bottom of the first inning, one in the second, two in the fourth and two in the sixth. Valmeyer’s lone run came in the second.
Stefan Gregson hit a grand slam in the first inning to get the Red Bud offense rolling early.
Other top hitters for the Musketeers included Jordan Buch (2-for-2 with three runs batted in and two runs scored), Alex Phegley (2-for-4 with two runs batted in), and Ratz (2-for-2 with a run batted in).
Marissa-Coulterville 13
Steeleville 0

Kevin Galle and Logan Tabor each hit home runs and combined for six hits and five runs batted in as Marissa-Coulterville rolled over Steeleville 13-0 Thursday in five innings.
The Meteors scored three runs in the top of the first inning, five in the third and five in the fifth for the 13-point win.
Chris Fullerton allowed no runs on just one hit while striking out six for the win.
Galle finished the day going 3-for-4 with three RBIs and two runs scored and Tabor was 3-for-4 with two RBIs and three runs scored.
Kyle Sinn drove in two runs, while Fullerton, Cory Mahan and Joel Klimas each picked up one RBI in the win.
Kris Beshears took the loss for Steeleville.
Trico 19
Eldorado 14

Runs weren’t hard to come by Thursday as Trico hosted Eldorado as the two Black Diamond teams combined for 24 hits and 33 runs in the Pioneers 19-14 victory.
Patrick Heller had a huge day offensively as the junior went 3-for-5  with a double and four runs batted in. Clint Young had two hits including a home run and drove in two runs, while Jesse Smith also homered.
Trico scored one run in the first, two in the third, six in the fourth, four in the fifth and six in the sixth.
Smith picked up the win on the mound, his first of the year.
Carlyle 6
Red Bud 4

Carlyle scored two runs in the seventh inning to edge Red Bud 6-4 Thursday in Cahokia Conference action.
The Musketeers grabbed the early lead with two runs in the bottom of the first. Carlyle took its first lead of the game by scoring a run in the second and three in the third. Red Bud tied up the game at 4-4 by scoring lone runs in the fourth and fifth innings.
Stefan Gregson took the loss for Red Bud. The senior tossed all seven innings allowing six runs on 12 hits while striking out nine.
Caleb Ratz and Colin Wiegard each had one hit and a run batted in to pace the Red Bud attack. Adam Kunkel was 3-for-4 in the loss.
