The Marissa-Coulterville boys golf team took second at the Cahokia Conference Tournament held Monday at the Governor's Run Golf Course.

The Meteors finished with a team score of 337, just 11 strokes behind conference champions Columbia (326). Carlyle took third with a 352.

Joel Klimas and Kyle Sinn each shot rounds of 82 to pace Marissa-Coulterville.

Heath Kipping of Red Bud shot a low round of 79 to tie for first place with Joey Bert of Columbia for individual honors.
