Trico scored the first 12 points of the game and never looked back en route to a 62-34 victory Tuesday night to move closer to clinching the Black Diamond West conference title.

The Pioneers outscored Christopher 22-9 in the first quarter, 13-11 in the second, 14-7 in the third and 13-7 in the fourth for the 28-point win.

Logan Thies led the Trico offense with 23 points, while Jesse Smith and Chase Heins each added 11 in the win.

The Pioneers improved to 15-7 overall and 7-0 in the conference with the win.
