Pinckneyville outscored Herrin 37-15 over the two middle quarters to pull out a 58-47 victory Saturday night in nonconference action.
The Panthers fell behind 12-7 in the first quarter, but battled back to outscore the Tigers 14-6 in the second for 21-18 halftime lead.
Pinckneyville went on a 23-9 run through the third quarter to increase its lead to 44-27.
Herrin outscored Pinckneyville 20-14 in the fourth, but Pinckneyville coasted to the 11-point win.
Drew Dudek paced the Panther attack with 17 points, while Shay Kellerman added 13 in the win.
With the win, Pinckneyville improved to 5-2 overall.
