Okawville outscored Trico by 17 points in the second half to hand the Pioneers their first loss of the season Friday night 65-57.

The Pioneers led 11-9 at the end of the first quarter and held a 27-18 halftime advantage.

However, the Rockets outscored Trico 20-10 in the third and 27-20 in the fourth for the eight-point win.

Taylor Walton scored 21 points to lead Okawville.

Tyler Coleman finished with 18 points to lead Trico, while Logan Thies added 16 and Chase Heins had 12.

Trico fell to 5-1 overall with the loss.
