Marissa-Coulterville outscored Valmeyer in every quarter including 35-21 in the second half for a 70-44 victory Saturday.

The Meteors led 18-9 at the end of the first quarter and held a 35-23 lead at halftime.

Marissa-Coulterville continued its tough play by outscoring Valmeyer 18-17 in the third and 17-4 in the fourth for the 26-point win.

Cody Mahan led Marissa-Coulterville with 16 points, while Joey Smith added 11 and Mike Lloyd and Casey Pitchford each had 10.

The Meteors improved to 4-9 overall and 2-2 in the conference with the win.
