Marissa-Coulterville notched its second win of the season by outscoring Dupo 36-11 in the first half, for a 74-45 win Tuesday night in Cahokia Conference Kaskaskia Division boys basketball action.
The Meteors led 17-8 at the end of the first quarter, 36-11 at halftime and then outscored the Tigers 38-34 in the second half to coast to victory.
Mike Lloyd exploded to score a game high 35 points in the win for Marissa-Coulterville. Dave Parkinson added 12 and Casey Pitchford had nine as the Meteors improved to 2-4 on the season.
