Lebanon pulls away from Marissa-Coulterville for a key conference win ... 12/15


 

Marissa-Coulterville grabbed a three-point first quarter lead, but were outscored by Lebanon 57-40 the rest of the way for a 73-59 loss Tuesday night in Cahokia Conference boys basketball action.
The Meteors led 19-16 at the end of the first quarter, and at halftime the game was tied at 31-31.
Lebanon outscored Marissa-Coulterville 21-14 in each of the final two quarters for the 14-point win.
Michael Clark and Nathan Thornton each had 19 points for the Greyhounds.
Mike Lloyd led Marissa-Coulterville with 12 points, while Cody Mahan added 11 and Casey Pitchford had nine.
With the loss, Marissa-Coulterville fell to 2-5 overall and 1-2 in the conference.
