The Yellow Jackets fell behind 21-4 in the first quarter and trailed 39-13 at halftime. The Tribe put the game out of reach in the second half by outscoring the Jackets 9-8 in the third and 25-14 in the fourth for the 38-point win.
David Rose scored 12 points to lead a balanced Du Quoin scoring attack that featured three players that reached double figures in scoring.

Chester fell to 1-5 on the season and 0-2 in the conference with the loss.
