Breese Central outscored Red Bud in every quarter Friday night for a 62-35 win in Cahokia Conference action.
The Musketeers fell behind 11-8 in the first and 24-13 at halftime. The Cougars went on to outscore Red Bud 19-11 in the third and 19-11 in the fourth for the 27-point win.
David Wiegmann led Central with 22 points as his team improved to 5-1 overall and 2-0 in the conference.
Red Bud’s offense was led by Jake Hoffman with 12 points and Stefan Gregson with 10.
The Musketeers fell to 3-3 overall and 0-1 in conference play.
