Dylan Hardin and Hunter Queen combined to score 22 points to lead Pinckneyville past Benton in the openng round of the Benton Invitational Monday night.
The Panthers led 14-8 at the end of the first quarter and held a 24-18 halftime lead.
In  the second half, Pinckneyville outscored the Rangers 19-15 for the 10-point win.
Hardin finished with 12 points, while Queen added 10.
